This page provides answers to the most frequently asked questions by students and applicants seeking admission to the college, covering admission and registration procedures, tuition fees, transfer and equivalency processes, academic services, and graduation requirements.
Admissions and Registration
The admission application is submitted electronically through the College’s website by filling in the required information, uploading the necessary documents, and tracking the application status via the application tracking service
The basic required documents include the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or its equivalent, a copy of the personal ID, a recent personal photograph, and any additional documents requested by the College depending on the program type or the student’s status
New students may be admitted in the second semester or the summer semester if seats are available and the admission applications meet the approved requirements
في حال الحاجة إلى تعديل البيانات بعد تقديم طلب الالتحاق، يمكن للطالب تقديم طلب تعديل إلكتروني عبر النظام المخصص لذلك، مع توضيح أسباب التعديل وإرفاق الوثائق الداعمة للطلب. كما يمكن التواصل مع قسم القبول والتسجيل لمتابعة الطلب، علماً بأن التعديلات تخضع للمراجعة والموافقة وفق الأنظمة والإجراءات المعتمدة في الكلية

Transfer and Course Equivalency
Yes, transfer to the College is possible if the transferring institution is officially recognized, and the student meets the approved transfer requirements
Courses are reviewed by the relevant academic committees and compared with the study plan courses in terms of academic content and credit hours
A minimum similarity of 80% is required between the content of the transferred course and the course approved by the College
For Bachelor’s degree programs, the course grade must not be less than 65%. For Associate Diploma programs, the course grade must not be less than 60%
The credited or transferred hours may not exceed 50% of the total credit hours required for graduation in the new program
Transferred or externally credited courses are not included in the calculation of the student’s cumulative GPA
Course Registration and Add/Drop Period
It is the period specified in the academic calendar during which students are allowed to modify their study schedule by adding or dropping courses
The academic load is determined based on the student’s cumulative GPA and academic standing, in accordance with the instructions of the academic system
Yes, a student may withdraw from a course during the period specified in the academic calendar, and the course will appear in the academic record with the grade code (W)
No grade is recorded for a withdrawn course, and it is not included in either the semester GPA or the cumulative GPA
A student may withdraw from all courses with an acceptable excuse, in accordance with the regulations and procedures specified in the academic system
A student is considered to have discontinued their studies if they fail to register or defer their studies in accordance with the approved procedures within the specified period
Examinations and Grades
A grade of 60% or higher is considered a passing grade in Bachelor’s degree program courses
A grade of 50% or higher is considered a passing grade in Associate Diploma programs, except for the Nursing Diploma program, which is subject to special regulations
The "Incomplete" grade is assigned to a student who is absent from the final examination due to an approved and valid excuse from the relevant authorities
It means that the student has withdrawn from the course within the period allowed by the academic regulations
A student is awarded a zero in the final examination if they are absent without an acceptable excuse
Academic Warning and Graduation
Academic probation is issued if the student’s cumulative GPA falls below 60%, except in the first semester for newly admitted students
Academic probation aims to alert the student to their academic status and help them improve their performance before reaching stages that may have a greater impact on their academic progress
Academic probation is removed once the student is able to raise their cumulative GPA to the minimum required level in accordance with the provisions of the academic system
Yes, it may result in reducing the maximum number of credit hours a student is allowed to register for during the semester
A student becomes eligible for graduation upon completing all requirements of the study plan, achieving the required cumulative GPA, and fulfilling all academic, administrative, and financial obligations
Yes, equivalent (transferred) courses are counted toward the credit hours required for graduation in accordance with the approved regulations and policies
The graduate receives the university degree certificate, academic transcript, and official academic documents in accordance with the College’s approved procedures
Academic transcripts, enrollment certificates, or graduation letters can be obtained by submitting an online request through the student’s personal page on the academic portal, where the request is processed and the document is issued according to the College’s approved procedures
